2020 CSA Memberships
Our CSA shares will begin in June and run through September. Our CSA customers can expect a healthy array of crops in their weekly basket, including veggies, raspberries and apples, freshly picked and paired herbs, edible & decorative flowers, recipes, and preserved goodies! Please see our options for CSA memberships below.
Please note that only 10 Full Season memberships will be available this 2020 season.

What is a CSA?
Community Supported Agriculture. A CSA program allows members of the community to buy a share of produce for the duration of the growing season in advance. CSA's are helpful for farmer's because it allows the farmer to cover all of their startup costs after a long winter season being out of production.

CSA members can expect a fresh weekly harvest of seasonal veggies, fruits, herbs, and specialty foods. Weekly orders can be updated online, or at our pickup location, where you can chose to exclude or include certain produce.
Deals on weekly add-ons will also be available for CSA share holders. These products will include foods such as dips, jams, jellies, fermented foods, and made-to-order breads!
CSA for Students

We have decided to provide a limited number of CSA shares to local Durango students, especially those who may have an interest in farming, biodiversity, environmentalism, food justice, biology, water, etc.
We want to provide learning opportunities for young people interested in sustainable agriculture and food production, as well as provide a low cost source of fresh produce! Please get in touch with rootandfoxfarm@gmail.com for more details and to ask more about payment options. Price is flexible depending on situation and involvement with farm programs.
Late Season CSA
We understand that many people are affected financially by the COVID-19 epidemic, and want to offer another chance to get in all all of the summer harvest goodness! Shares will begin in mid July- early August and continue through September. Stay tuned for more details.
